At Jacob Hill Leather, we strive to make the best belts available, but we always need your help, because without the correct sizing information, your belt will not fit properly. We need to make sure when you select the size of the belt you are ordering, that you are NOT giving us your pants size. Belt size and pant size are two different numbers.
BELTS ARE GENERALLY TWO INCHES GREATER THAN YOUR PANT SIZE, DO NOT GIVE US YOUR PANT SIZE.
On each product page we have a very easy reference for you to measure to get the correct sizing for your new belt. There is nothing we can do if you order the wrong size, because we make belts one at a time, there are none sitting on a shelf. We do not charge "re-stocking fees" because we do not have "stock" belts, we make them as they are ordered.
There is NO exchange policy if you order the wrong size, so please take just a couple of minutes and measure your current belt like the way it is seen in the diagrams and that will insure a proper fitting new belt.
Belt Sizing Guide
All belts are custom order only. Our belts are not off the rack. They are custom made to your size and specifications. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your belt to be made and shipped to you. All belts come with a silver toned buckle. There is not a return/exchange on belts that re ordered in the wrong size. Please use the sizing guide below to assure correct sizing before placing your order.
Belt Sizing Guide:
- The general rule for measuring a man’s belt size is to take your pant size and add 2 inches. For example, if you wear a size 34 pant, we recommend a size 36 belt.
- Using an old belt, put on the belt and use the hole in which it fits comfortably.
Measure from the end of the belt to the hole use (as pictured below).
This measurement (length) will be the middle hole (out of 5) of your new belt. This will be the size to use for length when placing your order
